Carbon is one of the most powerful absorbing capacities known to man. It is the most common component in most water filter cartridges. It effectively removes chlorine, sediments, dirt and odor from water. It is always wise to include a carbon filter in your prefilter configuration. We feel that the 5 micron carbon filter is the best micron rated carbon filter to use because it will last longer than the 2 or 3 micron filters while doing virtually the same job. Furthermore it is more cost effective.

This filter tested and certified by NSF International and WQA under NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements only.

This filter fits the standard 10" filter housing units.

Directions For Use: Place cartridge in appropriate housing and flush for a minimum of 5 minutes prior to use. Use only with microbiologically safe and adequately (treated with chlorine etc) disinfected water.
