Proton Labs, the importer of the PC-200 and PC-500 is no longer in business. Many customers bought the water ionizers that they imported that need replacement filters and other accessories to maintain their machine. Our objective on this page is to help you maintain your Proton Labs Microwater ionizer running at peak performance. Maintaining your machine should be one of your objectives as well that's why everything (advice and products) associated with maintaining your Microwater will be on this page.

Change your filter at least once a year:
Some customers do not change the cartridge filter just because the machine did not prompt them to change the filter. If you are one of those people, you most likely have been drinking chlorinated tap water and your filter probably has grown some bacteria in it. PLEASE NOTE: the cartridge filter should not be used beyond one year regardless of whether your machine alerts you to change the filter. In fact it should be changed every six months. So change your filter at least once a year at the very minimum. There are two filters which works with Proton Labs PC-200 and PC-500 Microwater ionizers. First we have the blue filter which most customers are familiar with and the new white filter. The white filter is larger and has more filtration media in it to filter more water and is costs less than the blue filter. To place your order click here or scroll down.

Keep The Electrolysis Plates In Your Machine Clean:
There is no cleaning cartridge available at this time for the Proton Labs PC-200 or the PC-500 machines. We plan to have a cleaning cartridge soon, so please check back for updates. Continue to run your machine on acid mode twice a week to do a manual clean. When we get the cleaning cartridge it will do an even better job cleaning the plates.
